The private individuals who, for reasons of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, move a significant quantity of WEEE coming from lighting equipment can sign an agreement with the WEEE coordination centre for the free withdrawal of WEEE products.
These parties are defined as large scale users; some examples might be hospitals, medium/large-sized companies that eliminate large quantities of lighting equipment.
These categories generate quantities of WEEE greater or equal to 10 tonnes/year for the R4 grouping and greater or equal to 1.2 tonnes/year for the R5 grouping. The large scale users sign an operational agreement and the general withdrawal conditions with the WEEE coordination centre that govern the relations with the signing party.
The groupings managed for the large scale user are R4 and R5.
In order to use the withdrawal and to receive the proper bins to carry out the separated collection at the company’s location, all that is required is to sign up in a simple and quick way to the WEEE coordination centre agreement.
For the completion and approval of the contract by the WEEE coordination centre the payment of a 150 euro contribution will be made at the large scale user’s expense which must be made by bank transfer. This aspect is a necessary condition for the activation of the service.
The documents concerning the operational agreement and the conditions of service for withdrawal can be downloaded (in Italian) from the site www.cdcraee.it.
