Enrolment methods

Dear Visitor,

If you have already looked at our services and you want to know the costs of joining the consortium, please download and fill in the Quotation Request Forms.

The forms, which are different according to whether you want a quotation for membership of the consortium for the management of WEEE and/or waste BATTERIES/ACCUMULATORS, should be completed by inserting:

the data relating to the placement on the market of the products (EEE or batteries), referring to the previous calendar year
the data for the turnover generated by the sales of the products (EEE or batteries), referring to the previous calendar year
information about the company making the request and contact person

The enrolment fee is paid once only on enrolment in the consortium and remains in the consortium fund (as arranged under the current civil laws).

The amount of this fee is determined on the basis of the turnover generated by the sales of the EEE and/or Batteries and accumulators in the calendar year prior to joining the consortium. The value of the declared turnover falls into a fixed reference band which determines the amount of the enrolment to be paid.

The turnover must be indicated net of Value Added Tax and refer to 2009 (if placement on the market started in 2010 then the predicted figure for 2010 is indicated).

The annual fee is a contribution which is made every year by the member to cover the consortium’s organizational costs, referring to the operational calendar year (1 January – 31 December).

The annual fee is calculated proportionally both to the turnover generated by the sales of EEE and/or batteries and accumulators in the previous calendar year, and to the quantities declared of placement on the market.

Consorzio ecoR’it, since it has adopted a contribution scheme that asks the producer to finance the real costs incurred during the collection and treatment phases (therefore giving up the application of the visible fee on the declared placement) has provided a “calculation tool” that, by learning the quantities of placement on the market declared by the producer, enables a precise and reliable estimate to be produced of the real costs which will be incurred by the consortium for the collection/treatment of the particular waste of each enrolled producer.

The estimate calculated in this way will enable the member to arrange for the appropriate settlements to cover the balancing costs.
